Wise Words

It has been quite a long while since I am back here to update and all, I didn't expect one of my very first updates after close to 5 months of missing in action to be what I refer as a high class insult.

子曰 不患人之不己知 患不知人也。

Confucius said it doesn't matter whether people understands him but it matters whether he understand those people.

In a recent crossed fire argument I came across, that phase suddenly popped up!

Now understanding one's character, it does not matter any longer. As a wise nerd and his missus recently said:

People who matter, doesn't mind. People who mind, doesn't matter. Don't mind people who mind.

Wise words indeed.

That got me thinking of the whole drama - a spinster's lack of attention from the male species perhaps got her really frustrated hence she is unable to even think / walk straight. Or perhaps is so involved in her own world that she may have forgotten that her biological clock is silently tickling away every single second and the world does not revolve around her only.

Funny thing is that I known of many galfriends and wise ladies who are unmarried (even older than the said spinster as mentioned previously) whom I know for sure will not have the similar reactions even if they come across similar incidents.

Now do not get me wrong, I have no qualms about any spinster that exists around but perhaps just that single one that crossed my path very recently. In reality, we all live on our own, fulfilling those life missions we set out for. By crossing people path's in the most unnecessary manner may cause some misfortune in future (which some refers it as Karma). I strongly believe in.
